Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you called Witches’ Eye?

Witches’ Eye refers to divination itself. I see divination, the art of seeing that which is yet to come or otherwise hidden, as the “eye” of a witch. It allows us to see the path ahead with some clarity, and helps us decide for ourselves what direction our destiny is headed.

Are Psychic Readings real?

That comes down to a matter of belief. I personally believe that psychic readings work, but I cannot, and do not make any legal claim that psychic readings are real. All readings are for entertainment purposes only.

What services do you provide?

I provide virtual private readings over Google Meet, telephone, text, or email, as well as in-person readings for parties and events.

Where are you located?

I do not currently have a physical shop, but live in the Los Angeles area, and provide party services in that area.

What if I want a private reading in-person?

I typically stick to virtual readings, but am willing to provide in-person readings under certain circumstances.

What kinds of readings do you provide?

My readings are a combination of tarot readings and bone readings, depending on your need and desire. I primarily focus on tarot readings, using bone readings as a supplement.

Can you predict the future?

The accuracy of readings varies depending on the reader's skill and the client's openness to the process. Results should be viewed as guidance rather than definitive predictions. I can provide insights and potential outcomes based on current energies and trends, but the future is not set in stone and can be influenced by individual choices.

Do I need to have a specific question in mind going into a reading?

Having a focused question can help guide the reading, but it is not a requirement. That said, if you ask for a general reading, don’t be disappointed if love doesn’t come up in the reading.

How should I prepare for a reading?

It's helpful to come with a clear intention or question in mind. Relaxing before the reading can also aid in receiving guidance more effectively.

What kinds of things can you tell me about?

My readings can provide insight into a large number of topics. Examples include knowledge about different paths you can take, your love life, or even your own inner self.

What kinds of things can’t you tell me about?

While my readings cover a wide variety of topics, there are some things I cannot or will not tell you about

  • I will not give you specific Medical, Legal, or Financial Advice, please leave that to an expert.

  • I cannot help you locate missing persons or objects.

  • I will not communicate with deceased relatives, or seek messages from them for you.

  • I cannot give you an exact time frame for future events.

  • I will not tell you what the “right” answer is to your questions, or what the “right choice to make is. I can give you insight into your options, but I’m not interested in deciding your path for you.

Beyond this, the insight I provide can only get so specific. There are only so many cards and so many bones. Beyond this, I don’t decide what cards I’ll draw, or how the bones will fall, and I can’t force them to be more specific than they are.

How long of a reading do I need?

That depends on what kinds of questions you have, and how in depth you want to get. The general rule of thumb is that the more information you’re looking for, the longer your reading should be. For a solid reading that covers a single topic fairly in-depth, a 30-Minute Reading may be best, but if you want to go very in depth, or want to cover a variety of topics, an hour might be needed.

Are readings confidential?

Readings are always confidential. I will not share information about your reading with anyone else, and will never share your name or personal information.

How often should I get a reading?

It’s really up to you. Some clients prefer regular sessions, while others seek readings during times of uncertainty, significant life events, or just when they want to inject a little bit of fun into their day!

Do virtual readings work?

Getting a reading virtually or over the phone is ultimately no different from getting one in-person. What matters is the focus of the reader and the openness of the client.

Are you a witch? Is everyone who uses tarot cards a witch?

The term witch is one that has a long history and a lot of varying connotations. In the broadest definition, it is a label sometimes used by people who use supernatural methods to influence their world in some way, including divination. I personally do use the label Witch for myself, but this is a personal choice. Not everyone who reads tarot cards would consider themselves to be witches.

What’s the difference between tarot reading and bone reading?

Tarot readings involve using a deck of 78 cards with different symbols and meanings, while bone readings involve casting and interpreting of bones, shells, or other small objects to gain insight.

Both involve the reader interpreting the objects symbology, layout, and energies I feel while conducting the reading, to provide guidance and insight. Neither practice is inherently better or worse than the other, they are just different.

Can anyone learn to read tarot cards or bones?

Yes, anyone can learn with practice, dedication, and an open mind to connect with the cards' symbolism.

Are tarot or bone readings connected to any religion?

Yes and no!

Tarot is often associated with witchcraft and New Age religions, and some religions will weigh in on their opinions of various types of divination, but tarot is not exclusive to any one group, and is more of a spiritual practice rather than a religious one.

Bone reading has a more complicated answer. The act of divining the future from bones is connected to many religions across the world, and has as many methods as there are stars in the sky. Some of these religions are considered closed practices, meaning their rituals and beliefs are exclusive to people either born into the practice or who were initiated into it by someone who is already a part of it. This is done for a variety of reasons, but regardless of why it should be respected.

The method of reading bones which I use is not exclusive to any one practice, and is instead a more general method that focuses on intuition.
